Showrooms also add to our overheads, which means we can stay cheaper – for you. There’s no hard sell from us, remember that. What we offer is just a friendly chat, with some talk on product specifics and a price. It’s then up to you to choose how you go about the next steps. And that’s how we’ve always been.

A great question, with a simple answer: No. Your shutters are painted with several coats of PU (acrylic-based polyurethane) paint and a final clear coat which is designed to withstand UV rays. Sanding and repainting your shutters in a water based paint means they will fade over time. One of the many benefits of shutters is that you’ll never need to do anything to them, and the paint will look as good in 10 years as it does the day it is installed.
Thanks to the modern design of window shutters, they excel at reducing road noise! When closed they will limit the amount of excess noise heard from windows making them perfect for living rooms as well as bedrooms and even bathrooms.
