Black Window Shutters
Every now and again, we get to complete a project that just that “WOW” factor. A previous client approached us in Brentwood, looking for shutters with a difference.
A difference to what they had before, they had a very specific image in their mind of how they wanted their window shutters to look. Black, but to allow as much light as possible. As you can see, the home is already adorned with black features, so it would make sense for the shutters to tie in nicely.
Whenever we offer a dark colour, we do try and advise on the best way to still give as much natural light as possible. Our Brentwood shutters project, needed to look good, but offer functionality.
Brentwood Shutters continued…
The wider 89mm louvres aren’t quite the largest we offer in our shutters range, but for windows, they are the best option. (114mm are an option, but generally reserved for tall doors).
As usual, our only way was to line up all the panels and splits with the windows to ensure a complete look. Here at Shuttertec, we do always insist on matching your shutters to your windows – where absolutely possible. If you’re trying to enhance curb appeal, this is the one single way to now throw off the outside look of your new window shutters.
As you can see, they look as gorgeous as we all imagined. Black shutter blinds are risky, but if you’ve got the vision, they never fail to impress.
