Modern black hardwood shutters

A new home built to exceptionally high standards, outfitted with black hardwood shutters.

Every now and again, we just get a client who asks for something different and you KNOW it will look exceptionally good. This client wanted black shutter blinds for the newly built property, near Saffron Waldren.

Each room was impeccably built and decorated to a high standard and they only wanted the best. The approach from this client was for a modern look, but something different. We discussed many options, but black was always at the forefront of her mind. As you can see from the pictures, black plantation shutters just suited the property so well from the exterior as well as the interior and this is quite often something you need to consider – both the interior and exterior look.

We knew that having a dark coloured shutter would darken the room a little, so we offsetted with a larger louvre to allow as much natural light as possible.

As you can see from the pictures below, we finished everything to a very high standard.
