Oak shutters
We give our touch of class to this newly renovated room with our oak look shutters.
Wood-grained shutters are not a highly requested item these days. Long gone are the days of wood venetian blinds – you know, them that just constantly collect the dust? Thankfully, there’s still a market for them, and DAMN, they look good.
This room was going under fresh refurbishment when we were contacted by this client, and she wanted something that was a good match to the floor that was being laid. The chosen colour was ‘Antique oak’ shutters, which look incredible. It’s worth noting that these shutters aren’t painted, they are hand-stained. Each panel/frame section is painstakingly hand-crafted for you – which means no two will ever be the same!
For the hardware, we opted for an antique brass finish, which really did complement the oak shutter blinds.
The bay window shutter is a one-piece unit, which is how we do all our bays, fully bespoke to your window. We over-trimmed the white cladding from the window at either of the bay in the oak to finish the look off entirely.
Delightful outcome and one to be enjoyed for years down the line.
