Black Shutters
For the customer who wants the darkest of days, we give you our black shutters, with integrated blackout blinds.
Not to everyone’s requirements, but the ultra-stealthy look works.
We were approached by a potential client who had been warned away from black shutters. We get it, they’re insanely difficult to work with, require precision fitting and generally take 30% longer to install than any other colour. They also had the requirement of them being blackout window shutters. But we come into our own, with over 15 years of experience in the shutter industry, there isn’t much we can’t work with.
We took the original window which was completely white, and covered it entirely with black. Not just the black shutters, but we also trimmed over the window trim itself with black cladding to polish off the look. The result…? Fantastic! This window has a huge amount of attention to detail to it to give the look the client was after.
We have a completely pitch-black room (Thanks to those blackout blinds) behind the black plantation shutters and a brand new look for the client in their bedroom.
